About Us: 
In 1976, Tom Edwards, of Tom’s Diner, approached Carl Goodwin with an idea to build a small diner on this piece of property. Beginning with only the bar and nine barstools, Tom Edwards ran it for one year under the name “Tom’s Diner.” Tom then turned the business over to his son, Mike Edwards. Mike ran the family business for approximately one year before deciding that he did not want to follow in his father’s footsteps.

Linda’s father, Carl Goodwin, came to her at age 20 offering the Diner to her. Linda had previously been a waitress at Fleet’s Restaurant and jumped at the idea. She changed the name to “Linda’s Diner” and began her journey.
