Peninsula Heating & Air, or better known as “PHA” was established in 1955 in Newport News, Virginia. Privately owned and operated, PHA quickly became known as the Tidewater area’s leader in residential and light commercial comfort solutions, also known as HVAC.

Since taking ownership of PHA in 1992, President Steve Smith, Professional Engineer, has grown the business exponentially to now almost 50 employees. He attributes the growth and success of PHA to one thing: understanding the needs of our amazing customers and exceeding their expectations. We accomplish this by offering quality products and services, while maintaining a workplace which thrives on professionalism, teamwork and continued education.
